The SELENACARE washable sanitary pad is an environmentally friendly and hygienic alternative to all disposable menstrual products. The washable sanitary napkin is not glued, but slipped around the underwear and fixed in place with the integrated press-stud. It can be used with almost all women's underwear, but unfortunately thongs offer too little space for this.
On light and medium days of your period
Depending on the size, the washable pads absorb between 10-25 ml of fluid, making them ideal for light and medium menstrual days. The liquid is collected and passed on, so the pad remains comfortable to wear without feeling wet. For the heavier days of your period, we recommend using the pad in combination with a menstrual cup or tampon. The pad can also be used for intermenstrual bleeding or spotting. All fluids are absorbed safely and reliably. This makes it the ideal solution no matter what phase of your cycle you are in.
Rinse, wash and reuse
Disposable period products have to be bought again and again. Over time, this can become very expensive. Our pad is simple and easy to wash. After use, rinse in cold water, then put in the washing machine at 30°-40°C and leave to air dry. The pad should not come into contact with bleach or fabric softener, as these have a negative effect on the absorbency and antimicrobial effect. After all, we want you to enjoy your washable sanitary napkin for as long as possible.
